envyが通算7枚目となる新作フルアルバム「The Fallen Crimson」を2020年2月5日にリリースする事を発表、アルバムトレイラーを公開した。

本作『The Fallen Crimson』は、2015年にリリースされた『Atheist’s Cornea』より約5年振りのアルバム作品となる。2018年11月に発売されたシングル『Alnair in august』発表後より制作を開始し、約1年間の製作期間で作り上げられたとの事。

アルバム内容としては、envy「君の靴と未来」を彷彿とさせるようなピュアでアグレッシブな攻撃的な楽曲や、シングル『Alnair in august』楽曲「Dawn and gaze」の如く美しさと壮大なサウンドスケープが特徴的な楽曲等、合計11曲が収録。また、「Rhythm」にはAchikoをゲストシンガーとして迎え入れている。

尚、海外では2月7日にTemporary Residence Ltd.（North & South America / Australia）、Pelagic Records（UK / EU / Russia）からリリースされる。

そして、2020年2月11日には恵比寿LIQUIDROOMにて「The Fallen Crimson」Release showが開催。チケット等詳細は後日アナウンスされる予定。
